Where did this week go? Perhaps being on countdown for a trip is making things go quicker. I still managed to visit some creative link up blog parties this week and these a just a few of my favourites.
Fab pillows found at Sassy Sanctuary.
These super cute crocheted apples would be so fun for eraser and pencil sharpener storage and can be found at Roots and Wings.
This wonderful shabby vintage rococo style clock makeover - can I get a Yumm!! This would go perfect with my little room makeover project. You can see from my inspiration photo why it totally gets my favourite vote for this week. You can find this clock and more wonderful projects at The Speckled Dog. Kristi paid $2 for it...why can't I find deals like that. Plus she used paint she already had. What a fabulous thrifty find too.
That's it for this week. My "to do" list is long and my "too late" list is getting longer with all the things to be done before I go away. :) I am on the road traveling for the better part of the next two months so taking a break from Friday Favourites for a while.

More than One
Today I am adding a couple of linky party's to the list in the sidebar. After all we can all use more than one blog link party to share our creations and DIY projects - or even our teacups.
Which reminds me...please don't forget to check the Tea Parties page up top with all the teacup and tea party links. There are a lot of them on Tuesdays!
You can find this gorgeous teapot and more at the 33rd Tea Time Tuesday @ Rose Chintz Cottage.
Now for today's new blog linky parties.
The first is one for Photography lovers and can be found at Trendy Treehouse.
Shutterlove Tuesdays are themed so be sure to check out today's blog linky theme.
Our second new blog party host is Shannon of Shannon Makes Stuff.
Here you will find a You Made It Tuesday party to add your creations to.
Now I am off to visit some creative link up blog linky party's myself.

September 3rd Friday Favourites
Just some of my favourite creative links this week.
Found at Antique Chase some fabulous corbells used as candle sconces.
Cute madeover numbered pots at Reloved Rubbish
Adore this image (as well as a bunch of others) from Elly at My Everyday Things via House in the Roses. The old books, photo and linens so artfully arranged and all set of by that fab white.
In fact it is one of many over there that are just wonderful. Please go and see the rest of Elly's gorgeous cottage.
Great use of an antique crate over at Nancy's Daily Dish
Can't wait to see the rest of this kitchen transformation over at Buckets of Burlap.
A wonderful DIY project in my favourite shabby style at Biljana Shabby.
This looks so like my shelf that I made over this week. Found at Reloved Rubbish also.
Check out this upmarket lamp makeover at 33 Shades of Green
Oops! Looks like I got long posted again, and I hadn't even listed them all.
So I'll leave you with one last favourite.
This one is Kathleen over at Faded Charm and is just one showing her pretty, shabby, and vintage space at Camas Vintage Street Fair.
Just delicious!
Have a great week and don't forget to check back for more linky party's!

A Tuesday Linky
Here is another Tuesday Link Party for you to take part in.
This is over at House of Grace and one I really like called Twice Owned.
Reusing, re-purposing, making over and up-cycling are all wonderful ways to help keep the planet in a little better shape than it seems to be headed. Why buy new when you can make something over and reuse it? What a fabulous way to celebrate your twice owned possessions with a blog party.
You can find this weeks Twice Owned Link Party here.
If you've been added to the list please pick up your Blog Linky Party Owners Button.

Back to School Ideas
Back to school is usually an exciting time for most family's. It can be daunting and overwhelming as well. Up north of the equator most schools are back or headed back around now.
Here are some great craft ideas I have come across to help the transition go more smoothly. Idea's for the children and the teachers for back to school week in the northern hemisphere.
3 Fun back to School Traditions @ How does She?
What child could resist milk and cookies after school? You could even make one for each day of the first week to ease those settling in nerves.
@ Organise Your Stuff Now.
Why not makeover some buckets for homework supplies? Get them off to a good organised start.
@ Cute as a Fox an new take on an old favourite for a teachers gift.
@ Nice Girl Notes you can make decor matching magnetic alphabets for your younger learners.
At The Hybrid Chick is this neat and fun back to school door hanger idea.
And finally over at Love Stitched is one for the all us Mum's and Dad's who have to do the laundry after our precious ones come home from school with pocketfuls of stuff.
Awesome!!

First up from Funky Junk Interiors Saturday Nite Special linky party
@ Fresh Cut Fabric
Found at the Strut Your Stuff Thursday on Somewhat Simple.
@ Me and My Insanity
@ The Little Round Table I found a pretty "girly luncheon" tablescape. Just look at that hydrangea under the sweet cloche. {heart}
@ The Scrap Shoppe Blog I found a great way to show off photographs, art or scrapbook pages.
@ Our life in a Click was the cutest little cloche.
@ That Village House is a great Batten and Board project to pretty up a spare wall space. Egg blue and white - one of my favourite combo's.
Thank everyone for the wonderful projects and creative inspiration you've all shared this week. There were so many to choose from but I can't add all the ones I would like to. :)
